BLCAC IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT IT HAS BEEN ACCREDITED BY ARCHERY GB UNDER TWO onTARGET SPECIALISMS ~ COMMUNITY AND YOUNG PEOPLE. SEE THE NEWS PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION

Welcome to Bingham Leisure Centre Archery Club.

BLCAC was formed in 1982 and has produced Olympic, National, Regional and County standard archers.  Ours is a friendly target archery club that has around 60 members, shooting Longbow, Barebow, Flatbow, Recurve and Compound bows.  We have close links with Toot Hill Academy Archery Club, which is run by our coaching team, as well as with other schools and groups locally.  We run beginners courses throughout the year, please contact us for more details.

As a result of support from SportEngland we now have a wide range of lightweight and portable equipment available which means we can go out into the community to deliver archery sessions wherever you are ~ well almost .  Please get in touch with us if you are interested in having a bespoke session to meet your particular needs .

Take a look around the site and if you would like to know more please get in touch.

Bingham Leisure Centre Archery Club has been accredited by ArcheryGB as a Community and Young People Specialist Club.  This reflects that we are committed to providing an environment for everyone in the community to experience archery in a friendly and supportive environment and that we are particularly committed to working with Young People. We are grateful to John Green of 1st Bingham Scout Group and Mark Tinsley of Toot Hill School for their support in our application for these two accreditations.  We will continue to work with the different groups across the Community as a whole and with schools and colleges in order to encourage as many people as possible to experience archery. Recently we have run sessions for East Leake District Brownies and Guides, Bingham Brownies, 1st Bingham Beavers, Beeston Boys Brigade and Gedling Sports Plus, as well as our weekly sessions at Toot Hill College ~ where we will also be running archery sessions throughout Activities Week.
